About the techniques we use
All the processes are completed in traditional pottery by craftsmen with extensive experience in the fields of ceramics.
The processing of the ceramic is completed in 15 stages. We make the clay and we edited it in a potter's wheel after the drying and follow the first-carving decoration.
We Paint the object and piece take shape. Once baked in the oven for 12 hours at 1200 degrees Celsius, wait another 12 hours to cool. Next step is dipping into liquid glass and after wiping them then back in the oven for another 12 hours.
Finally when the oven has cooled completing then we make the assembly of the pieces.
All these actions are done to enable the object to remain intact for thousands of years and is a unique durable gem.

The pottery process is part of tradition in Greece since ancient times daily earthen used for decoration and for the utensils.
Especially in the island of Santorini the art of pottery has its roots thousands of years ago.
The materials we use to construct our objects is the clay where soil and water are mixed and baked at 1200 degrees Celsius for over 12 hours.With several metal impurities e.g. cobalt, iron, copper, we can manage the desired hue.
The specific color of Indigo (blue color) is obtained by blending the cobalt oxide in specified amounts impurity.
